The aim of this project is to identify and rank the most fashionable NBA players based on their outfit choices using AI-driven analysis and scoring.
Player Selection
A curated list of notable NBA players known for their fashion sense was compiled. The selected players include players from this link:

Outfit Sampling
For each player:
Two outfits were selected at random from publicly available images taken during NBA game arrivals or official tunnel walks.
These images were gathered without any chronological or thematic bias to ensure randomness in sampling.
Outfit Analysis Process
The images were ed and processed using ChatGPT (GPT-4-turbo, April 2025)—the current AI model from OpenAI at the time of this project.
For each outfit:
AI Description – The model described the outfit, noting the key items, materials, styling cues, and brand visibility where possible.
Categorization – Each look was classified into a general style type (e.g., streetwear, high fashion, athleisure, etc.).
Fashion Scoring – Based on internal training data, current fashion trends, and aesthetic evaluation, each outfit received a Fashion Score (on a scale from 1 to 10).
Scoring & Ranking
Each player’s two outfit scores were averaged to create their final Fashion Score.
Players were then ranked in descending order according to this average, creating a leaderboard of the most fashionable NBA players in the sample.
